What is CBD
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a natural compound found within hemp plants. CBD is not psycho-active, not intoxicating, and not addictive, which means you will not receive that "high" feeling. With consistent use some benefits may include: reduced inflammation, improved sleep quality, reduced anxiety & stress, and less pain."
What are the benefits of CBD?
CBD helps support the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) which has been linked to memory, appetite, metabolism, stress response, perception of pain, immune function, thermoregulation, sleep, and the autonomic nervous system.
The ECS also helps keep your body in homeostasis, it's optimal sate, where it can function and heal efficiently. CBD bonds with the receptors of the ECS so it can perform smoothly and allow your body to achieve homeostasis.
What's the difference between: Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum, and Isolate Products?
Broad Spectrum Products contain a variety of cannabinoids and other beneficial compounds found in hemp plants, but essentially no THC.
Promotes the "entourage effect" (when additional cannabinoids and hemp compounds may synergize with CBD for greater wellness potential)
A “best of both worlds” option, because it may promote the entourage effect while not containing THC
Full Spectrum products are made with the full range of cannabinoids and other beneficial compounds found in hemp plants, including up to 0.3% THC (the federally legal limit). This small amount of THC is not enough to cause a "high."
Full-spectrum products are the most holistic representation of the hemp plant because they don't exclude any cannabinoids
They may offer a more complete "entourage effect" (in which cannabinoids may synergize with CBD for greater wellness potential) due to the presence of small amounts of TH
Isolate products contain only the CBD compound and no other compounds derived from hemp. This contains 0.0% THC. This means you lose the entourage effect which is the synergy of all the other compounds working together but for those worried about THC or testing this may be the right choice for you.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much CBD should I take?
Every body handles CBD different. Green Roads recommend starting low and slowly increase as needed. Use daily for optimal benefits.
Can I CBD get me high?
The cannabinoid responsible for the feeling of being "high" is THC. CBD does not have any psycho-active properties. Products with THC are Federally regulated to trace amounts (0.3% or less) in order to not produce that "high" feeling.
Will I pass a drug test?
Even though our concentrations are below the federally legal limit, we recommend you do not take full-spectrum CBD products if you are required to take a THC drug test for work, medical or personal reasons.
Is there THC in Green Road Products?
If you are using a Broad Spectrum product there will be less that 0.0mg of THC. When using a Full Spectrum product there is less than the federally legal limit of 0.3% THC. If using an Isolate product there will be none.
