Level Up offers a variety of techniques to address your wants and needs. This ranges from soft tissue manipulation, functional neurology, corrective exercise photobiomodulation.
A Level Up Massage
I utilize a variety of tools for soft tissue release including swedish/deep tissue, cupping therapy which is a large component of my massage treatment, gua sha, intraoral, and more.
Why Cupping Therapy?
Cupping Therapy has a variety of benefits including releasing soft tissue, mobilizing fascia, increasing circulation, stimulating the lymphatic system, break apart scar tissue and adhesions and help remove stagnation from the body.
Cupping can leave behind stagnation and cupping marks. These tend to lessen after each session and are very dependent on each specific client where marks can last 1 day to 2 weeks. These are not bruises but fluids trapped in your tissue we are helping to drain out.
Why be sure to include cupping from a client point of view?
I've had multiple clients in my past say "with a normal massage needs them needing another within a week, while one with cupping makes them feel great for a month or more!" Cupping drastically boost what can be accomplished each session, how thorough I can be, and longevity of results.
Intraoral Massage:
If you're dealing with issues related to your jaw including TMJD, bruxism, clenching, grinding or pain then intraoral massage might be a nice thing we can base a session around or just incorporate a small amount to make sure the jaw is doing its best.

Using P-DTR to assess and treat chronic pain
Proprioceptive-Deep Tendon Reflex therapy is a technique that utilizes muscle testing to see how the nervous system is responding to stimuli and sensory input and then help reprogram how the brain utilizes that information for the output.
P-DTR Treatment Example
This might appear as someone who sprained an ankle ligament years ago and even though the ligaments/tendons healed from the trauma, the stretch receptors in those ligaments are still hyper sensitized and makes the surround muscles compensate to avoid them still. P-DTR helps reprogram the nervous system to allow it to process that this threat is no longer there or valid and the ligaments can be stimulated again without muscles compensating.

Reasons you may find P-DTR beneficial:
Resolve Long term problems you’ve “learned to live with”
Treat the source of the issue and not the symptom
Increase range of motion
Eliminate lingering dysfunction and pain from chronic injuries or accidents
Nerve Entrapment
Processing Emotional Trauma
Organs/Viscera issues
Decrease ankle sprains
Increase strength output by restoring muscles
Maximize balance and stability
Improve muscular coordination
Decrease stress and the associate chronic effects.
Light Sensitivity
Symptoms related to problems with Cranial Nerves
Recovering from concussions (light, sounds, eye movement)
Chronic spine and neck tension
Often clients who find this work especially beneficial have been dealing with chronic issues for years and not been able to figure out why. Many clients these days come for this work for maintenance or to prevent problems from getting larger as time goes on.
Photobiomodulation
If P-DTR helps retrain the brain/nervous system and massage therapy helps realign and rework muscle fibers to be more effective, then Photobiomodulation is what helps the body actually heal.
Low level lasers use red and infrared light to help give resources to energize the cells to their maximum. This might give white blood cells the ability to fight off infection or reduce inflammation. Red blood cells can multiply, deliver more oxygen, and help with collagen for muscle, tendon and ligament repair. Finally osteocytes to repair bone.

Looking forward to your session
I've worked hard to find my favorite combinations of treatment methods to help my clients achieve the best and longest lasting results. Not all these modalities need to be incorporated into every session but its nice to be able for us to be able to pick and choose depending on what you're wanting to work on each session.
I look forward to your first session with me at Level Up!
